I went to this location 3 times in the past few months. The first time I was looking to replace a light bulb and was priced for the entire light (over $100) and told they’re out of stock. I am not very knowledgeable of cars, so I left thinking that I was going to have to replace the whole light. Turns out I just needed the $8 bulb. Why I was never asked that question, I’m assuming that employee wasn’t very knowledgeable either. I went back here again a few days ago because my engine light came on and back off and wanted it tested. That employee gave me a runaround about why it was a waste of time instead of just doing it. Today I go back because the light came back on and another employee was very rude. Needless to say I feel like this location is full of employees who don’t like their job, and come off as if you’re bothering them and also just aren’t very knowledgeable of what they’re doing. I went to Advanced Auto instead and they were very helpful. I won’t go back to this location anymore.
Outstanding customer service, professionalism and expertise at this Auto Zone tonight.The people who work here know what they're doing and show that they care and that's awesome. Especially Noellie K who really saved the day - i mean reallly went above and beyond - replacing my (very very) old battery I'm so thankful.

This store is close to my house and I always buy something for my car. Today I went to and asked for a Totalpro battery and the associate brought Econocraft brand) which is $79.99 on the website and they charged me to 129.99 before tax. As a customer I never try the Auto zone, specially this location. Dear people! Please don't go there. They trick you and charge you extra. If I rate this store zero out of ten (0/10). Still 0/10 After 8 days of returning the battery I didn't receive my refund. They waste customer time and playing with people. I don't know why? Oh my God!!!!!!!!
Shout out to Steve! Outstanding service. So last time it was raining I thought, "get new wiper blades." Once the sun came out, forgot all about it. So it's raining now. Went over to AutoZone, got a solid recommendation on some decent blades to get. **Noticeable improvement, thanks Steve**. Free installation and a complimentary bottle of wiper fluid. Cant beat it!!
The stores Manager Keltsie? Is excellent. I was blown away by Keltsies (sorry about the spelling) kindness and knowledge of cars. She is 100 % an asset to this company. Keltsie went above and beyond to help me with my car. Not only did she replace my headlight. She cleaned the corrosion off of my battery cables. She also helped me fix my trunk. I was having a hard time getting it open. Once again, I was completely blown away by Keltsies knowledge of cars and her compassion to help other people. Thank you Sweetheart for all you did for me! I will forever be grateful for all she did to help me This woman could have just fixed my headlight and walked away. But instead she went way above and beyond what any normal employee would do. In this day and age, consider yourself lucky if you can even get someone to help you! This Manager should be commended for her hard work and dedication and in my opinion, given a raise or moved up to a higher position. Auto Zone is blessed to have such a knowledgeable, kind, caring human being!
I just went to AutoZone to test my battery. It tested bad and was replaced by the Store Manager Kelsey (sp?). They were friendly, knowledgeable and replaced the battery and wipers quickly and efficiently. The service here was far greater than most other auto parts store I have visited. I highly recommend them and their services. Thank you,

Went in with a battery issue, ended up being a dead alternator. They had it in stock and my battery was still under warranty too. So a little parking lot parts change and voila, problem fixed. Everybody was a big help to me in a time of unexpected need.

Service was slow. I guess that is to be expected when there are several others having them look up parts, etc.. It was nice that they offered and did put on my windshield wipers.
Buyer beware: This location does not offer installation with battery as advertised in the commercials. The person I spoke with told me he knows how to do it but doesn t make mechanic money so he has a right of refusal. Advanced Auto on Central Ave. is doing it today with free install

I came in to get a low beam bulb and replacement clip for my headlight assembly, and the fact that with my major recent injury and surgery you took your time to selflessly install the new bulb and check my other bulbs. This is the best experience, and I can t wait to come back for all of my car needs and maintenance items. Over the top, and Rayner (hope I spelled right!) shower true customer service and just outright being a great person. This is why I will 100% be back. Thank you so much!!!!!

Excellent service here!! I just stopped in to grab some oil, and unfortunately thats when my battery AND alternator decided to stop working. Fortunately, the two employees there were willing to go above and beyond to get my car working again! They were very nice and made sure to recommend the best products within my price range, and even explained their reasoning to help me decide. Adam and Jesse, thank you for everything, you have no idea how much I appreciated it!

Needed to get my battery tested, tried going to the one closer to my job in Latham but felt like the person who helped me at that location had no idea what they were doing #1, and #2 treated me as though I was being a bother.. This place though, the girl that helped me was fast, friendly and efficient. Told me what was going on and what to do and what the prices are for what I needed without being rude or pushy. I use the store quite often both for my job and personal. I find that the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Theyll help you find something theyll help you put it on your car theyre always willing to give you a smile.

Had such a horrible experience tonight!!...I was out on my way home and my battery was dying!...so the guy wouldnt take an extra 10 min to help....my car stalled on the high way with my infant ...my hazard lights wouldnt work and we were almost hit!!...horrible customer service, you should be ashamed of yourself...going to reach out to corporate asap!!!....with all the craziness in the world common decency should be top priority.....

Hats off to the dude with the red Volkswagen that works there. Went out of his way to find me a couple sockets so that I could Slama set of pads on and get home to my wife and three children. I come here to get my car diagnosed when something is wrong they will come out and put a meter on it and let me know the problem...... Unlike advance Auto that will give you the meter and you have to do it yourself I dont know how to run one of those meters.... If your engine light comes on go to the AutoZone theyll take care of you
Last night I had a emergency blow out with my car and it is a Land Rover and it had a different lug nut and Evan m at Auto zone was so very helpful and not only assisting me to change the tire but making sure me and my acquaintance got on our way on time right on the flatbed truck he was amazingly responsive and deserves accolades I will go back to that store just to visit him
My car battery died and when i called the store ron an employee who works there came right over with jumper cables and helped me Get my car going i definitely reccomend auto zone in watervliet for any car troubles.

I was there with my sister a bus driver for SUNY and her safety means the world to me, AutoZone Auto Parts are professionals they went right into the computers and pulled up Make and model for window wipers and window cleaner solution to prevent icing and even explain to us how to put it in and how and where the solution gos. I left so happy in knowing my sister is safe, my many thanks gos out the staff there and may you and your family have a happy New Year.

If I could give this AutoZone 6 stars I would! John was extremely helpful and super nice. He helped diagnose my engine and replaced the battery in my car. Even though the initial diagnosis was inconclusive, John kept trying until we were able to solve the problem. He also gave me advice on how to prevent the problem from occurring again and tried his best to save me money. I would recommend this AutoZone to any car owner.

Worst AutoZone Ive ever been to, went in to buy a spark plug socket, extension and swivel. Cashed out went to walk out and the alarm went off, I walked back to the counter where I was asked to empty my pockets. I emptied them, they then called Watervliet PD, so I sat on the floor next to the counter and waited for the police to get there. Once the police got there they patted me down, turned all my pockets inside out found that I had absolutely nothing on me. The police then told me i was free to go. In recap my 5 minute (if that) shopping trip was turned into a 45 minute to an hour, I got searched by two different police officers in front of other customers just for them to find that I literally had nothing on me. The whole ordeal was embarrassing to say the least and I defiantly will not be going back in this store. Honestly I dont think Ill be shopping at any AutoZone from now on.

So, I needed coolant for my car. I was unsure which one I should put in my Volvo. My husband and I asked Brian to help us. He told us to look on the back wall and read. He was not very helpful at all. It took longer than what it should have. We went to the back wall where the coolant was, about 3 minutes later he walked up behind us and said here like I said if you would read you would know which one to get. I thought it was his job to help people? He should not have a job where he has to help others. I don t know if it was because we are gay that he did not want to help but I found it very rude of him to treat us the way he did. I do not think anyone should be treated the way he treated us that day. He kepted looking at my husband and making faces. I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. I do not think he should have a job working in the public. Feel free to contact me for more information. As long as he is working here I will never return!
