This place ripped me off!! Did not perform service I paid for. Brought it in for the 4000mi service. Only got an oil change. Had asked for a K&N air filter and they never changed it. Left dirty OEM in it. Asked to fix mirror. Didnt do it. They left all screws and bolts loose with no lock tight. Didnt even put seat on right. They charged me over $220. DO NOT COME HERE.

Called about a vintage Ducati carburetor, they were knowledgeable and very honest about expectations. I will be doing business here.

Dropped my bike off on a Monday morning for an insurance repair estimate. These rip off artists, held my bike hostage for over a week and then charged me $185 for the privilege. No estimate was provided. When I asked what the hell I paid for they said they could charge me a lot more for storage fees so I just paid their ransom to get my bike back.

They changed a tire for me no issues. Would have liked it sooner but its a busy shop so its understandable

The staff we nice and friendly shop is clean, the only problem I have with them is I had an appointment to drop my bike off for fork seals Friday morning at 9am and I told them. I needed my bike back the same day for a club ride I had for Saturday here it is now Monday still no bike or word when it will be done... Not a happy person if they couldnt do it and get it back to me before Saturday they should have never taken it in.

I called to ask a few questions I could tell the gentleman who picked up was very busy he was still courteous to answer a few questions. Very professional.

Update: DMV cited this shop for violations after receiving my report. If you go here prepare to be NICKELED AND DIMED. I am filing a formal complaint with the DMV (Bureau of Consumer & Facility Services). I was charged $10 for an inspection and told that I couldnt pay with a card because of fees and that I should use their ATM with a$1.75 charge. After paying I respectfully confronted the man at the counter about the increase in price from the usual $6 he claimed that it was because I didnt schedule an appt and that was normal. When I mentioned subtly that I thought it was illegal to do so he immediately reached into the register and tried to refund me the $4 without any hesitation. Because he knew what he was doing was wrong! In an earlier instance they also refused to re-use my existing tire tubes. Mounting two tires on wheels (removed from the bike) cost me $140! Predatory business practice. They will say anything to convince you to part with your money. Take your bike and your money anywhere but J&J. Update 1: after having tires mounted and balanced at JJS I brought bike to another shop for front end vibration. Weights appear to have been installed on the wrong side of the tire causing severe vibrations at 40mph! Now that it has been serviced by a reputable shop (JSC motorsports) its rides perfectly again. JJs appears totally inept or to have deliberately sabataged my bike. Update 2: I have attached a picture showing that JJs cycle was indeed found guilty and cited by the DMV for violating NYS inspection laws. Another reviewer is claiming that for some reason I decided to make all of this up as if I have nothing better to do with my time... Rest assured I wanted nothing more than to find an honest mechanic that I could pay fairly for their services. Please take your hard earned money somewhere else! This corrupt and predatory shop think so little of its customers that it would stoop to such lows as over charging for an inspection. Inspections dont make money I know! But they can often lead to further repairs and income. I am beyond happy with the service I received at JSC Motorsports on central in Albany. They have great communication and all staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.

Ive been to a few places in the past, for my bike, and JJs is superior by far. Great customer service, the prices were reasonable and the workmanship was stellar. They were completely up front with everything that they were doing, and most importantly they didnt try to push unnecessary sales on me like a lot of other places did.... I will definitely be back.

Went thru a rebuild for a rocket last year...came to jjs to order a few parts and it was kinda a hassle due to it not being a rocket based store. Staff went out of their way to order the parts and find the cheapest but best brands and told me about some brands that i didnt know too much about.

I stopped by to get a new mirror for my bike. It was the first time going into this business. I found them friendly, attentive and they helped me find a suitable replacement on ebay when they didnt have the part in stock, even gave me print out of page so I could buy on ebay. I would go to them again.

This place was completely dishonest with their work. They overcharge customers because they have to make more money. This was in response to a deal that was in place before service was completed.

I was told a firm $65 dollars per wheel for a tire mount and balance.. bringing the wheels and tires to them for convenience. Factory rejects and new policy, supposedly. Couldnt even schedule a next day apt. I will use the zip tie method, skip, sounds like a ripoff and company in need of new management.

I have not dealt with many other bike shops but the guys at JJs are great. They do not try to oversell you on merchandise, parts, service, etc. On more than one occasion, they have told me I didnt need a particular service or didnt need a more expensive part that was available. I am scheduled to pick my bike up from them in a couple of weeks after storing it there for the winter. As far as I am concerned, for all the services they perform as part of the storage, it is well worth the cost! They are my first stop whenever I need parts, service, etc.
