Poor Upholstery Work Ruined My 1989 IROC-Z I recently had the interior of my 1989 IROC-Z restored, but the upholstery work was extremely disappointing. The craftsmanship was subpar, and it s clear the upholsterer lacked attention to detail. The stitching is uneven, and there are visible wrinkles and lumps throughout the seats. Additionally, the fabric feels cheap and not at all like the original material. What was most upsetting was the way they handled my car. The interior wasnt cleaned after the job was done, leaving dust and debris everywhere. To make matters worse, they left fingerprints and smudges on the paint, which required additional effort to clean off. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this shop for any upholstery work, especially for classic cars like mine. It was a frustrating experience that I hope to never repeat.

I dont have a vintage car. I have a Subaru Outback. And when my driver side seat developed a gnarly tear that got worse and worse, McCoys came recommended from a local autobody and they over-delivered. They were a pleasure to deal with, my car seat looks brand new, and the best part was that it took literally no time. Your mileage may vary on that, but overall excellent service, excellent work. Couldnt be happier.

Just had my 2014 Porsche Cayman headliner re-upholstered and it came out beautifully; better than OEM. Originally, I was going to do it myself but the first attempt failed. Re-supplied and was going to make a second attempt but then thought otherwise. The price was very reasonable (I supplied the cloth and removed the headliner to reduce cost). Turnaround time was 2 days. Regrets was that I didnt call them earlier thus wasting time and effort. Owner Sean was very personable and honest. I highly recommend them and have actually done just that to my neighbour who has also been looking.

I went to McCoys to get my motorcycle pillion/rear seat reupholstered after squirrels had eaten a hole in the leather along with some of the foam. I brought my own material and they were able to fill the gap in foam and upholster the seat in no time!

Sent to McCoys by my mechanic to look at a problem with my convertible top. Went without an appointment. They immediately inspected car and diagnosed the problem. Great experience. I walked in without an appointment and was able to get a quote for repair and appointment within a day. They reupholstered the entire drivers seat and it turned out great. Had a dashboard light randomly come on after repair and they were quick to check it and set it right. A+ customer service!

I went to McCoys Upholstery to have my car headliner replaced. Gotta say the results are excellent. This is a custom job. I m quite impressed with the quality of the material as well as the customer service. The job was done in a timely fashion as well. My 2006 Mercedes had a floor mat that started coming apart, and fraying. I brought the floor mat into these guys off of a rec from my dad, who had good experiences with them. They immediately took the floor mat to their guys in the back, and I chatted with the owners in the meantime, who happen to be super cool, and extremely talented in their field. 15 minutes later, my floor mat looked brand new, and they didnt even want to take my money. Theyve made a customer for life, and I cant recommend them enough.

McCoys does amazing work. I first learned about them when I needed repair work on my new Chevy HHR. Later I discovered that many of my friend knew about them through their classic cars. Great people and great place. They redid all of my vinyl on a 33 center console: 3 helm chairs, all bolsters, a fold-down bench, and all cushions; and everything looks and feels better than new. Took less than two weeks. Price was more than fair for the level of crafstmanship and marine materials used - highly recommend.

I have not received any services from this location, review is based solely on quote received. I called for a quote to have my headliner replaced in my car. I have a 2007 model vehicle, nothing out of this world. I was quoted for $1,100 for this. I called 2 other shops for the same job and they ve both quoted me $250. Something isn t right here...

I don t leave reviews at all but this time I have to! I m %100 sure none of these people with 1 star reviews got any work done here. The quality of workmanship and service is pristine. I was referred to McCoy s by multiple people who got major work done here which is why I chose them to rebuild my classic Mercedes interior. My car s interior now looks and feels so much better than it s ever been. Thank you for making my dream come true. I have more projects and I can t wait for McCoy s to work on them!

They are thieves I took my 2 cars to get some work done on them the job was about 40% done already they told me they needed total of 25 hours of labor alone( and they didn t need any parts because I had everything there) which they say I was in urgent need to get this done so I can sell one car and start using the other 25hoursx125 an hour is 3125 and that s just labor. I took it to someone else who also do professional work and they got it done within 3 and a half hours and I asked them to take their time so it comes out perfect which it did and asked 500 bucks. I will never even if my life depends on it I won t go to this place. No one in this world that isn t a thieves would charge such huge difference and no professional anywhere needs so many more hours on a job like that. I warn anyone who reads this if you don t know much about what ur going in there for DO NOT go there they will rob you blind

Talk about professionalism; they do a top notch job. They are serious, precise, and most important totally caring about how they do their work. They did an amazing job on my car. Wish I had 10 stars to provide for them.

In summary, this company just blew my mind! I had an old Ovalia Egg Chair from the early 70s which fell apart. McCoys gave me an accurate estimate to refurbish it first class. They had the fiberglass recolored and clear-coated, upholstered the interior with amazing leather, reconfigured the stereo speakers with modern Bluetooth Bose and installed LED lighting and Presto a work of art! Their attention to detail is beyond artistic and professional. They did not cut any corners and produced something that couldn t be improved. I highly recommend them for anything they undertake. The other work they were doing on assorted trophy cars was beyond imagination.

Highly recommended for interior restoration. I brought my beloved restomod 1992 Nissan Maxima SE to McCoys Upholstery to have the dashboard recovered. Seans team did spectacular work. The new vinyl perfectly matches the original material and the result looks brand new. They even used surgical instruments to remove, paint and reinstall fragile plastic dash vents. If you want the best for your car, then I strongly recommend McCoys Upholstery.

I could not be happier with my experience with McCoys, and I want to share the whole thing because I think it says a lot about the shop. I wanted to get my bikes seat redone, but just the foam and leather since my seat pan is custom fit to my frame. I also wanted waterproof foam because my current foam was basically a sponge. McCoys said no problem and project completed within 24 hours! When I first got the bike back, while the craftsmanship was phenomenal, it seemed there had been a miscommunication regarding the design I had wanted. Sean worked with me to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted this time and, free-of-charge, gave me just that in less than 24 hours. The picture below shows all three iterations of the seat. The quality and customer service are outstanding. I cant recommend this place highly enough.

The pictures in my review are from what McCoys tried to pass off as a $400 job. I purchased and provided them with original BMW parts from a seat that came from the same year/model BMW as mine. Their work was horrible and the new seat looked worse than before they put their hands on it. After I spoke up about their abysmal craftsmanship, they were nice enough to charge me $300 and offer to redo the job with non-BMW materials. But after the mess they made with my original BMW materials (that I bought separately and have to buy again now), I wouldnt let them touch my car with a 10 foot pole.

I had a badly sagging headliner in my Lesabre, so I took my car here to have it replaced. I am so glad I did. They did a fantastic job on it. In fact, the new headliner is made of a better quality material than the original one, and the quality of installation was better than what Buick did in their own factory! Dropped the car off in the morning and the job was done the same day. This is definitely the place to go if you need auto upholstery work done!

A few months ago I came in for a replacement soft top for my 1999 Porsche Boxster. I have waited to leave a review for some time to get some real use on it. The top not only looks great (the car looks 10 years newer) but it also runs well. Raising and lowering is faster than ever. Everyone at McCoys Upholstery was professional and and the price was fair for such good work. I felt confident I had found the right place as soon as I walked in. The car was ready to pick up early and I could not have been happier.

Expensive and quality questionable

If you want excellent work, I recommend going to McCoys Upholstery. I came across McCoys based on the excellent reviews and my mechanics recommendation. However, I was a little apprehensive because they work on high-end cars and was concerned that I wouldn t be able to afford them. From the start of my conversation with Sean, I knew I made the right choice. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a step by step of everything he was going to do. He was accurate, considerate of my budget and open to my feedback. He also worked on a timely basis and wasn t resistant to additional work. He delivered the finished product as promised. Without a doubt Sean exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use them again for my next project and recommend them without hesitation.

Had dealt with McCoys for years, new ownership. Had a small tear on rear upholstery 2017 Prius. Qouted me a price of $325, told me would need car four hours and would have to take door off. Took car to Toyota, part listed at $95, gave it to me for $75, no removing door, piece popped off It took all of 1 minute and under $100. No great review for this place, sick and tired of being ripped off.

These guys do great work, my seat bolt broke and needed to be drilled out and re-welded, i must have called at least 6 body shops and mechanics that told me they couldnt do it or sounded like they just didnt wanna be bothered with it. As soon as i called these guys Sean told me it wouldnt be a problem fixing it. So i bring it in and the Fabricator, Mike had the job done in like 30 minutes. The seat is more solid than when i bought the car. Really appreciate these guys helping me out, especially when no one in a 15 mile radius would.

Our Lexus front seat got damaged with holes and rips in the front center and we had no idea what to do. The car is always kept in excellent shape and we wanted this to be fixed soon, and more importantly well, so that it wouldn t be noticeable and stay in great shape for the life of the car. Without knowing what to do or where to go, we searched online for car seat repair and found McCoy s Upholstery at the top of the list, and with nice reviews. A quick visit with Sean at their Woodside shop got us a quote for leather and vinyl repair options, and Sean showed us the materials that would be used in either case and explained the process and how long it would take to repair. After doing a little shopping, we found Sean to be the most courteous, most professional, and lowest price for the repair. When calling for an appointment to have the work done, Sean was extremely accommodating. We dropped of the car in the morning and expected to pick it up at the end of the day. As promised Sean called with an update at Noon and let us know that the work was finished.. Upon picking up the car at 1PM, we were not surprised by the completely unnoticeable, professional repair because Sean had taken us through some of his other jobs when we first visited. McCoy s pride in their work is absolutely justified. Professional craftspeople and artisans, who are very courteous and properly priced is what we got from our fortunate choice of McCoy s Upholstery. We were in and out with a smile and though we hope to never have to have similar repairs made, it s comforting to know the best place to go if we need it. We highly recommend the service and services of McCoy s and trust you ll have a similar experience.

My 2001 Mustang Cobra convertible needed a new top. The shop did a great job. Quick turn around too, as I dropped the car off on a Monday and the job was done on Tuesday. There was a variety of cars in the shop. Very professional to deal with.

I was so impressed with the expert level work that Sean and his crew did on my Jeep Libertys saggy seats. This place is for the regular guy (as well as high-end work on show cars, restorations and yachts!).

They did my cars leather seat and the seats are very nice. I agree that they are very expert at their work. If you make leather seats for your car from them it will nearly look like factory work.

I happened upon McCoys Upholstery because I was looking for a place that could fix a broken manual recline seat in my new-to-me 2005 Denali. We went over just to see if we could find the place and if so, how much theyd charge to fix it. Well, low and behold, Mike consulted with his boss and got us right in. Mike fixed the seat in under 30 minutes and the price was not outrageous. Well definitely be back because this same car has a small section of cracked and peeling leather on the drivers seat. Mike told us he could have it fixed like new and the boss said it would take just about 90 minutes. We received excellent, expert, courteous and speedy service! Thanks a bunch, McCoys!

I had an amazing experience with them. I changed my cars fabric seat to leather seat and they did the right job. Moment I talked to Johnny on the phone to the end it was turned to leather seat, i was content with their great customer service. Nice people, great pricing and fast work.
