Tony Scott Auto 2 in Wynantskill

Had my car towed here as the result of a leak and couldn’t get the car out of first gear, engine was overheating etc. They tell me the transmissions toast and that it would need to be replaced. Something seemed fishy and the symptoms didn’t line up with what I was being told. I had two other local shops take a look at it and they both confirmed it was the radiator that was leaking. So either 1) I was lied to by the staff of Tony Scott, 2) they didn’t bother to do a good enough inspection to actually figure out the issue or 3) they really did think it was the transmission and were about to charge me a lot of money to do an unnecessary repair. Plus they left the interior of the drivers side door covered in greasy fingerprints. I would recommend them to no one.

I had an issue with my work truck and needed it fixed right away. Tyler and Vince started working on it instantly and did a full repair in just a few hours. I highly recommend them!

The mechanics/shop were highly recommended to me, and I am grateful and happily highly recommend this shop! Gentlemen were excellent and took care of the issue with my car quickly. Will be using them for any issues I have as long as I am in the area.

These guys are genuine. Rates are reasonable, and they actually brought me in and showed me the problem. I didn't feel like they were taking advantage. Definitely going back.

Went in because every other place turned me away for a simple inspection to be able to even get to albany for a rebuilt title inspection. Great group of guys. Super sweet. Will get my business from now on.

The only place I will ever take my car- never felt taken advantage of and always an easy process. Feel very safe leaving my car and trusting the work will be done right. Prices are always amazing!!

Tony is extremely friendly and easy to talk to - not "rough and gruff" like most mechanics. When you talk to him, you immediately get a sense of his honesty and integrity - he's one of the unusual "real people" in the industry. He takes scheduled appointments seriously; you'll be in when he says you'll be. He tells you what you need and what you don't, is patient about explaining things, and gets the job done in minimal time and at a very reasonable cost. I go to the East Greenbush location (am aware he splits his time between there and Wynantskill) and am grateful he is in the area. Thank you, Tony!

Highly Recommend. Tony and Dominick have done outstanding work on more than one vehicle for me and they are the most honest and capable mechanics I have dealt with in a long time. I trust their pricing and ability based on my past experiences with them.
