My car broke down in Poughkeepsie few day ago I called the police they called Redls towing and I must say they were amazing very fast service had my car up and running in no time. Not to mention customer service was great.

Needed a jump after a drive in movie. Contacted AAA and they arrived very quickly, 20 minutes after I spoke to the AAA representative. Great guy came and jumped the truck. Quick and courteous. Thank you

These guys are amazing! I ran out of gas on a super busy 3 lane road. Eric and Greg stayed with me while my friend went to bring back gas. They were super nice, friendly, and quite entertaining. The made me laugh in a very scary and stressful situation. I will absolutely call them if I ever need a tow.

When my college daughters car failed to start leaving her stranded in a Target parking lot, we used the Geico app to initiate roadside assistance. Eric Redl arrived 20 min earlier than the app predicted and provided hands down the best towing customer service Ive ever experienced. Once he determined that the battery wasnt the issue and the car needed to be towed, he assisted in finding a local shop with experience in repairing our model car. EXCELLENT service. I used the road side assistance through my insurance and Redl s was responsive, fast, and thorough. I called because the text from my insurance said it could be up to 90 minutes; they were at my location in less than 10 (I was close to their shop, which helped). The gentleman who towed my car was personable, and waited with me until my partner came to pick me up. 10/10, absolutely recommend!

I know that no one wants to need a tow, but these guys make the experience as smooth as possible. They take pictures at pickup and drop off to ensure that your vehicle is in the same condition as when you left it. This came in handy for me when my car was damaged while Im the dealers possession. They tried to claim that it arrived damaged, but I called the driver and he had the office send me the pictures to prove that the car was pristine when it arrived. They even followed up to see if the dealer took care of the damage. Thanks guys.

I used Redls recently when my car died and I needed it towed to the dealership. I was very impressed, starting with the fact that they actually answered their phone; none of the other local places I called did. Thats an admittedly low bar, but everyone (I scheduled the pickup with Eric, and Greg towed the car) was very friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed riding with Greg great guy. Never a fun experience to be without a car, but Redls made a tough situation a lot easier. Theyll be the first place I call if this happens again.

Literally the fastest service I ve ever received from a tow company. Really fast and professional.

My grandsons car was towed on 11/18/23. Quick service. But went to Redlstwo days later to retrieve two power tools & back pack from vehicle .Both power tools missing. Your guess is as good as mine. 1- impact drill 1- sheet rock drill

After arguing with AAA, we were sent someone from Redls for a jump on a dead battery. He was extremely helpful. He even helped me to find a better place to get a replacement battery than where I was going to go and came in with me to ensure I was going to be ok there. Thank you so much to this wonderful man!

had to get my car picked up because i slammed into a curb when coming out of a turn. the first person that came by to help was really nice. he made me less stressed and was actually helpful. but the next one that came around tried to tell me the fix would be too much i would be better off giving them the car for free without scrap value. never again will i use them. i would rather be stranded and leave the car than get their help. if i could leave 0 stars i would. EDIT: they called me and told me to take the review down telling me that they talked to the person that towed my car and that 9 out of 10 people that have their car towed just give them the car. And as we all know that isnt true at all. If they can give solid proof of it then Ill concede. But knowing how much cars are thats a total lie. Also if they didnt also own the junkyard then why is the address for the towing company and the junk yard the same. If 2 people have the same address you assume they live together. Stop lying to people trying to defend yourself. I wish I could take away reviews from them. They deserve that much.

Absolute Customer Service Experts! The level of concern and care for my family the day 2 of our Toyotas broke down within 30 mins of each other, both Floyd and Gregg showed care and concern for me and my family that night and made a terrible situation, just a tad bit better! Fast response too!

Got stuck all the way in Wappingers Falls closer to the Fishkill town line. Called my insurance, they tried to send Tow Boss from Fishkill at first. I was given a two hour wait time after two hours, my insurance company called me to let me know the tow company tried to call me and confirm the tow no one ever called me. So they just never showed up. Shows you how much they care about their business. Anyways, my insurance called Redl s, who I ve used before, and have never had a bad experience. Matt from Redl s called me immediately and told me he d be there in less than 20 minutes. True to his word, he showed up, got my truck all hooked up quickly, and to my technician (who Matt knows by the way, and my technician trusts him greatly). If Redl s will tow to your location, take their service. Don t call anyone else. They care about their customers, and they re extremely nice and professional. I would never call anyone else again except them.

This review is so long overdue. Picture this: it s a Thursday night in November 2018. The first snowfall of the season. Everyone forgot how to drive, and the roads were wild. My car (without all wheel drive) got stuck in the snow, holding up a parade of cars behind me. I became very anxious as I didn t know what to do. To my surprise, Redl s Towing was passing by me. I pressed my face and hands against my window, making eye contact with the driver. He saw the helpless look on my face, and turned around to help me. He towed my car safely to where I needed to go. Didn t charge me. The man s name was Ronnie, and he really helped me that night. Thank you Ronnie & Redl s towing!!!

My mother, kids and I were driving in Poughkeepsie just got McDonalds and were heading to the hair salon up until the car starting slowing down and then stopped. My mother and I were confused like whats going on because we knew we had gas.....well at least we thought!. We were in the intersection on 9 South and Vasser Rd. When I tell you God sent angels our way from the person who was driving by that call 911(which we didnt even know of), from the Police Officer that showed up to Greg from Redls Towing. The officer waited with us for our safety as we waited for Greg, which didnt take long he came superfast! He was very nice and polite he listened to what we had to say and then checked to see what couldve been wrong with the car. Come to find out we ran out of gas!...the car gas gage was incorrect and wasnt reading properly. He provided us with gas which got the car to start. He also had us follow him to the closest gas station so we can get enough gas. Greg even pumped the gas for us! Greg was awesome & God sent! They made us realize they are still good people in this world <3 Thank YOU Greg! If your ever in trouble in that area ask for Greg!

If you need an emergency tow do NOT CALL REDLS. This man came all the way just to tell me he couldn t help me.he didn t even step out of the truck or anything. Extremely rude on the phone and in person as if he s doing charity work for me. Knew the man personally to the point where I managed his banking accounts, I assumed he would help me like I ve helped him in the past. Very disappointed in them.

I cannot thank Greg from Redls towing ENOUGH. My dog stepped on my keys and locked himself inside the car on a hot June day. I called Redls after Honda Road Side Assistance said it would be a 50-80 minute wait. Greg answered the phone and told me he would be there in TEN minutes and he WAS. Seriously, my eyes welled up with tears. He showed up and unlocked my car door within two minutes! My dog, Percy, was happy as could be and again, a HUGE thank you to Greg and Redls towing. Today, my front right wheel popped right off as I was turning onto 55. I called the police, and the officer who came out was a nice guy and great to work with. They called for a tow, and Redld responded quickly. My tow drivers name was Greg, and he arrived in no time. He even managed to put wheel back just enough to help load the car on and off the bed of his truck. Greg told me he was a 20 year man, and it was easy to tell by his professional, his know-how, and his rapport. As he drove me over to North Road Auto, he was great to talk to, as well. He was certainly a blessing to shining star on a tough day. Thank you Greg and thank you Redls Towing. I am quite grateful for their service today.

Unfortunately I had a flat while out of town and they arrived quickly and preformed what was necessary . My technition Greg even took a look at my tire to see if it might be able to be plugged or if I would need a new tire since my spare was a temporary. Heres what i wrote Unfortunately I ve had some bad luck with cars the past few years. I have roadside with my carrier and we always request Redl Towing NOT P******e auto service, they are the worst. on two occasions my wife has had to wait up to five hours for the operator L***y. Greg from Redl is extremely dependable and timely and picked up car within an hour and Gregs so friendly too. Greg is amazing and down to earth. Greg was wonderful this morning when my mom s car wouldn t start. He came out right away and jump started it for her. Greg was so kind and I feel better knowing that my elderly mother can call him if she has trouble in the future and I can t be there. He was extremely understanding and patient with all of her questions.

Eric is amazing! We got a flat tire and were stranded in a parking lot while on a road trip, and Eric was so kind and stayed with us the whole time while waiting for a tire shop to confirm they could see us to have our tire repaired. He even called the shops to try to assist with finding someone who could help since it was late on a Saturday afternoon. Then called an hour later to make sure we were safe and taken care of highly recommend!!

My husband called AAA when my grandfather got a flattire at the hospital visiting my grandmother. Eric and Matt went above and beyond to help us out. My husband had tried everything to get the last two lug nuts off but didnt have the right sockets. After 3 hours of being stranded they saved us. We cant thank you enough!!!!!!!

After being stranded with a malfunctioning car, still two hours from our final destination, we lucked out big-time when the Subaru assistance line resulted in the arrival of Greg from Redls Towing. Not only did he try everything possible to revive the car, but he then saved us an enormous amount of headache and hassle by offering tow the car and give us a ride back to our home. He was a total pro and a total gentleman, with no issue wearing a face mask for the duration of the drive. We were so grateful to be safely back home that night. Could not recommend more highly.

Have one driver pick up my bus he was very good and my insurance company gave them the wrong place to bring my van then had to go get my van from ryn beck so that wasnt good but the driver are ok people who answer phone at office need to be more curtiss but other wise I give them a top 7

On Saturday, December 19, 2020, I pulled out of my garage to run and do some Christmas errands. As soon as I did, the lights on the dashboard of my brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue started dinging. It indicated my front left tire only had two (2) pounds, but didnt think anything of it because its typical for one to get low tire pressure in extreme cold temperatures. So I pulled out of my driveway and suddenly got a horrible feeling about it. I got out and saw it was incredibly flat! I jumped back in and pulled it back into my driveway. I have State Farm for my auto insurance, in which I have roadside assistance included. I made an inquiry through State Farms automated system. The current time was around 11:00am and I was told through State Farm they would be arriving around 12:15. I was sitting and waiting in my driveway the entire time for them to arrive. I have driven passed Redls Towing many times before while living in the area and knew their location really isnt far away. It was getting really close to that time and no one had shown up yet. I took it upon myself to call them to find out the ETA. The guy who answered said he didnt know because everything is backed up from the snowstorm. Uh, okay. I explained that I had been waiting for an hour already. The guy then said, Listen, Im working under a car right now and I have oil all over my hands. I really dont have time for this right now. Wow, really? So I told him, Then Im going to call Nissans roadside assistance and whoever gets here first, can take care of my flat tire. He then starting laughing and said, I really dont care and hung up on me. The driver, Matthew Ripo, then called within a few minutes and claimed he called my cell phone six times to confirm the service call. If that was really the case, then why didnt the guy who answered the phone at the shop tell me that? I went on to explain to the driver my phone never rang and why would I ignore a phone call coming from them, especially since I have a flat tire??? So he lied about making attempts to call me. He didnt have much to say when I asked and I told him I didnt appreciate the way the other guy treated me on the phone. My husband works in the car business and you dont treat customers (or anyone) like that. I also have plenty of customer service experience and would never dream of treating another human being like they had with me that day. Its extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, it happened the week before Christmas. I understand people are overly stressed about the holidays and anything pertaining to COVID, especially after this crazy year. The driver arrived within ten (10) minutes, took another ten (10) minutes to put on the spare donut and left. Really, was that so hard??? I was waiting a total of an hour and forty-five minutes for someone who was only ten minutes from my home to replace my flat with the spare donut tire. Luckily, this happened on a Saturday where my husbands place of work was open and able to take care of it right away. On the other hand, my husband was working that day, so I did not have another car to run out and get my errands done. My best friend is also my State Farm insurance agent, so I told her what happened and she urged me to report this with the insurance company. I had done so. I got a call back from State Farms regional office out in Tuscon, Arizona a couple of days ago and went into depth of what exactly happened. She stated she will forward all the information to her managers office, in which they will be forced to take action with Redls Towing due to everything I told her over the phone. Even though this establishment has gotten several positive reviews, the feedback I had stated above is 100% true. I would not post a negative review about a business unless it was truthful. I believe in supporting small businesses but not ones where you receive poor and unsatisfactory customer service. Ill be sure to post this review on my social media pages and tell friends, family and acquaintances to NOT use this company.

As embarrassing as it is......Misplaced a key fob for a rental car while the rental was parked in my driveway blocking all our other vehicles. A lesson learned ! My wife spoke to Eric who sent Matt over to move the rental. Matt arrived within 10 minutes and took the rental back on the hook and returned it for us. I ve had to use Redl s Towing twice in the past two days. I had lost my key Fob and was unable to transport my vehicle myself. They ve been professional, pleasant and on time in the time frame that they give.

Redls Towing recently towed my car after I got a flat tire. I had my elderly and disabled mother with me at the time. In addition to showing up quickly, Matt went above and beyond in helping lift my mom into the tow truck, making sure she was safe and comfortable, and then helping get her out of the truck and into her wheelchair. He was kind, patient, and extremely respectful the whole time. Thank you, Matt, and Redls for your over-the-top customer service and your much-appreciated kindness.

I feel that Redls doesnt really need my review, as their reputation precedes them. Absolutely the most professional and friendly towing service in the Hudson Valley... and they have proved that to me once again when needing to be towed for a flat on Friday. The gentleman was obviously extremely busy, yet calmly took his time and was extremely courteous in handling my needs even though it put him further than I know he really wanted to go. My 2016 Volvo battery died due to the electrical interior fan not shutting off. Greg came, recharged the battery and started the vehicle, drove it right up onto the flatbed. He was the 2nd tow truck to come, the first guy did not know how to move the vehicle since it was dead. He never checked the battery, or tried to do anything. He said he did not have the equipment to get the vehicle onto the truck. Redls is a professional operation with the experience to actually be able to help you. Not just out there grabbing tows without the mechanical knowledge. Redls has a very professional, courteous, and kind staff. I will keep their number in my phone just in case.! The WORST TOWING IN POUGHKEEPSIE. They lie to you about the price of the tow. On phone they say one price so you tell them to come. Once they Arrive they up the price but only AFTER its on the truck. Then they tried demanding cash only. These people are out for one thing, your money! They could care less about helping a stranded driver. And they charge over $90 after tax for a tow no more than 2 miles away. Already called the BBB and im looking into other complaints because they are just sharks. I would have given them 0 stars if possible. Take my advise, if you need a tow, call someone else.

I call to ask for some used parts, the guy at the phone answer unpolitely and rough, never gave attention just cut me off giving me another phone number like a 1000 miles per hour, dont bother them seems like they dont want to be on business.

My car was towed after running out of gas on the Taconic state parkway. The New York state police called for a MANDATORY tow, no intentions of Redls. Out of this HUGE headache, for why my car was towed and who towed it the police were no help. the State police told Redls they could not release my vehicle until they got the OK from officer Hagans. Which Hagans would not be back until Monday (car was towed thursday). The cops were of no help, and wouldnt even tell me why my car was bein held. I went in person to Redls expecting the worst but I was blown away at how much they were trying to help and get information for me.. I learned from them NOT the police why they were holding my car.. expired license and tag, in which I reinstated that same day, without theyre help, I would have not known until Monday which would be even more of a hasle. They went above and beyond to try and resolve the issue. These are great regular people, I have never had so much help with customer service and its a towing company!!! They really saved the day and made everything easier and easier on the wallet. Thank you Redls for having no greed and being regular people just like the rest of us! Thank you again!

I got a flat tire in the parking lot of my job. After the hard time my insurance company gave me I was sure I was in for a really crappy experience. I was pleasantly surprised. The guy who came was kind, helpful and extremely friendly making a stressful situation much more bearable. Two thumbs up to these guys!

The guy answering the phones was extremely rude and would not let us finish talking before cutting us off constantly. We had a jump start the other day from someone else who was nice and helpful giving us their card. Thats why there is more than one star. 5 stars to the guy that helped us one for the rude guy on the phone the next time we needed help that couldnt be bothered.

Twice I had them get my keys out the car...both times They were efficient and amazing at the same time. Not only was I told an hr wait, they were here WITHIN a half hr. I had experienced many unprofessional people that would screwup your car door, rude, and just dont care. This company is amazing and every time I see there truck Im happy because I know its going to be a good job. Trust no one BUT them.

I found myself in a pickle when a traffic stop yielded me a week in slammer because my CCW permit from Alabama didn t carry over to New York s gun laws. An oversight I won t make again. These guys were the impound company that towed in my truck and car hauler. Besides the situation itself, these guys were super understanding and professional while my wife was able to make accommodations to get my equipment out of impound in my absence; even from ALABAMA!! I hope we never meet again under the circumstances; but I ll know my equipment is in good hands if we do. Thanks guys!!
